My coach is a bit like putting on a pair of glasses. She helps me to see more clearly. It’s easy to get caught up in the details but trying to see the bigger picture is vital for the success of our company. Is it trivial or non-trivial? Does it speak to a broader more systemic problem? Can it be fixed? Ok, so how. That might all seem elementary but it’s not. Getting the kind of forensic help to unpick the problem to drive a solution will not only make my firm stronger, it will make me a better colleague.
