The routine of lockdowns throughout the pandemic made me forget about things that I deem as valuable to me (e.g. socialising, hobbies etc). I got into the habit of prioritising work—a little too much to the point it impacted my relationships and frequently resulted in burnout. We recently completed a “wheel of life” activity, which was incredibly eye opening and changed my perspective on my work-life balance. Since then I’ve felt empowered to bring hobbies and relationships back into my life, which in turn is positively impacting my work performance.
