What ADHD team members need.

Generic coaching often doesn't land for ADHD brains. The standard "what's your three-month goal" approach assumes a linear, sequential thinking style that doesn't match how ADHD operates. Many ADHD team members and managers have spent years masking at work, compensating for executive function challenges, and feeling like they're working twice as hard for half the credit.

What they need is a human coach who actually understands executive function. Who doesn't pathologise the way they think. Who can help them work with their brain rather than against it.

Why it matters

Why companies invest in ADHD coaching.

Coaching helps organisations retain and develop some of their most valuable talent.

ADHD team members are often:

  • High performers
  • Creative problem solvers
  • Future leaders
  • Highly engaged and motivated

They're also more likely to experience:

  • Burnout
  • Chronic stress
  • Confidence erosion
  • Attrition after prolonged masking

What's different about More Happi for ADHD.

We have specialist coaches who have trained specifically in coaching neurodivergent clients, and many of them are neurodivergent themselves. They understand the realities of:

Time blindness and deadline anxiety

Coaches who understand why traditional time management doesn't stick — and what actually works instead.

Hyperfocus, novelty-seeking, and motivation troughs

Working with natural attention patterns rather than fighting them.

The cognitive load of masking at work

A coach who sees the exhaustion of performing neurotypically — and helps reduce it.

High standards and harsh self-criticism

Turning perfectionism into a strength without letting it burn you out.

The relationship between ADHD and burnout

Spotting the warning signs early and building sustainable ways of working.

Rejection sensitivity and feedback

Processing feedback productively when your brain reads it as threat.

"Incredibly insightful and grounding. We explored some of the ways ADHD shows up for me at work - especially in moments when I struggle with self-regulation, social anxiety, or self-doubt. Emily helped me connect these experiences to my ADHD tendencies in a way that made everything feel less like personal flaws and more like patterns I can understand and work with…"

Eedi team member

"Kat helped me untie the knot of confusion that brought me more clarity I could make sense of… As someone with ADHD, Kat really understood how my brain worked and how I can work with my brain, rather than through systems that are best suited for a neurotypical brain."

IMA team member

"In each session, Sharon meets me exactly where I'm at and shows me so much care and kindness. Sharon has helped me look at the challenge through an ADHD lens. Sometimes, that is helping me accept the situation, and sometimes that's showing me ways to overcome an issue or reach a goal by being aware of what's needed for an ADHD brain to function… It feels like I'm with an understanding friend who wants the best for me."

Creo Invest team member

"Working with Niamh has been amazing. She's helped me understand myself better and helped me develop practical tools that really make a difference. I always leave our sessions feeling supported, encouraged, and more confident. I can't recommend her ADHD coaching enough!"

The best talent you have might be the talent you're currently losing.

ADHD team members are often your highest creative contributors and your most likely to burn out. When the system is set up to support them, you keep them. When it isn't, you lose them, often after they've masked for years and then crashed.

Coaching tailored to how their brain actually works is one of the highest-leverage things you can offer. It also signals something quietly powerful to the rest of your team: this is a company that supports difference, not just talks about it.

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need to disclose an ADHD diagnosis to access this coaching?
No. Managers self-select into the support that fits them. You provide access; they choose how to use it. Many managers access this support before formal diagnosis.
Are More Happi's ADHD coaches themselves neurodivergent?
Many are, yes. Your team can choose coaches based on their lived experience, training, and specialisms.
What if a team member isn't diagnosed but suspects they might be ADHD?
Coaches don't diagnose. But they can help managers make sense of patterns and explore if a clinical conversation might be useful or something they might want to pursue. Many team members use coaching to work out what they're dealing with, and make adaptations that support their work and life.
Can this coaching also support other neurodivergent profiles?
Many of our specialist coaches also support other co-occurring neurodiverse conditions. Where this is possible, this will be listed on their Coach bio.
Is this an alternative to clinical support or workplace adjustments?
It complements both. Coaching focuses on how a manager works, leads, and grows. It sits alongside clinical care, occupational health, and any formal adjustments your business provides.
