A visualisation tool that coaches use.

Anything you can imagine, you can create.” -Oprah Winfrey

You can’t really argue with Oprah, can you? And she isn’t the only one who believes in the power of visualisation.

Visualisation is a tool that coaches use to help people understand and simplify their situation. It helps us to focus our mind and cut the noise out.

When things seem incredibly complex, with visualisation, we stop feeling overwhelmed. We can see the main themes. And we can work out what to do about them.

Here’s an example:

What boat are you on right now? Can you describe it?

Are you on your own in the boat or with people? Who? What’s the context?

How big is your boat?

What’s the water like? Stormy, flat, fast-flowing?

Those brewing waves? What do they represent?

What would make your situation better?

It’s hard to know how to save your boat when you don’t know what boat you are on or what’s going on around you. But when you do, that’s when you can make a plan.

For whatever struggle or economic storm is brewing.

Your mind is truly powerful, so keep exploring and create the life you want with the help of visualisation.
