Coaching could be the key to your success
What is coaching? You might not think that Oprah, Leonardo Dicaprio and Metallica have very much in common but the answer is they do. They’ve all benefited from working with professional coaches, and with More Happi, you can too. So what exactly is coaching, and how can it help you progress in your personal, professional, and well-being aspects of life? Let’s find out.
What does a coaching session look like?
Coaching is a productive and confidential conversation with a trained professional that is all about moving you forward and closing the gap from where you are now to where you want to be.
You will meet with your coach online, via Google Meet, for a 45 minute session, where you will breakdown and work on any topic you’d like. This session is 100% confidential. No-one within your organisation, or More Happi, will know what you discussed with your coach. It is a safe space to unpack problems, ideas, goals that are important to you.
A guide to find your own solutions
Coaching is a non-directive form of personal and professional development. Your coach isn’t necessarily the subject matter expert in terms of the topic you have brought to your session, instead think of them as a trained facilitator of your learning.
You will still get clarity and the solutions that you seek, but it is the coaches job to help you discover them in your own way. They are there to help you uncover your blind spots and raise awareness so that you feel better equipped to face and overcome the challenge, situation or goal you’ve brought to the session.
What can I expect from my coach?
More Happi coaches are trained to actively listen, ask thought-provoking questions, challenge limiting beliefs, uncover your core values and strengths, and foster reflection. Think of them as a trained facilitator of your learning, growth and development.
They’ll share valuable tools and frameworks, promoting your creativity and potential. Importantly, your coach won’t judge, assume, dictate, or offer advice. They’re not here to tell you what to do, but together, you’ll confidentially explore your potential, ultimately unlocking your own answers and solutions.
Your coach won't:
Tell you what to do
Come up with answers for you
Offer advice or guidance
Decide topics to work on
Judge you on anything you say
Make assumptions
Share confidential information
Your coach will:
Listen (to what is and isn’t being said)
Ask questions to deepen your awareness
Share tools and frameworks
Support you to get to the answers yourself
Help unlock more of your potential
Encourage reflection
Challenge your beliefs to uncover core values
Support for every moment that matters
Unlike other coaching providers, More Happi offers coaching in all areas of our life; relationships, purpose, self and parenting, as well as work. Why? Because there’s more to us than our jobs (although it may not always feel that way) and our personal life is just as important as the professional ‘us’ we showcase at work.
Each coaching session is as unique as you are, so there are no boundaries when it comes to topics to discuss.
Some examples of topics you can bring to More Happi coaching:
- Support navigating a new role or step up in seniority.
- Approaching difficult conversations with a colleague or family member.
- Reducing chaos and finding structure as a new parent.
Coaching can help in many aspects of your life

How is coaching different to therapy?
Therapy addresses mental health challenges and past traumas that are stopping someone from leading the life they want. Often described as a journey of the past.
Not everyone needs therapy.
Coaching is a conversation, or series of conversations, that enables you to move forward with clarity and direction. It can be used for almost anything, but often for problem solving, career progression and achieving work and life goals. You’ll leave feeling energised, motivated and ready to tackle your next steps.
Everyone needs coaching.
